Sterling Silver 'Treasury' Inkstand 1938 Ink Well Stand

An elegant sterling silver inkstand in the classic 'treasury' style. This Rectangular Inkstand has two compartments with hinged lids. The one has a pair of glass inkwells on either side of an empty storage compartment, whole the oher has a long compartment for pens. The Inkstand stands on four claw feet and has a hinged handle in the centre.

Made in 1938 in London by Richard Comyns.
