Studio Sebastiano del Piombo (1485-1547) Title: Saint Cecilia Painting Venetian School, 16th Century Painting (oil/canvas) "Venetian School, 16th Century". Sebastiano del Piombo was an early 16th century Italian painter known for his work in the technique of oil painting, which was still quite new at the time. He worked with artists such as Raphael and Michelangelo, and was an important member of the Renaissance art scene in Rome.
