"the Plastic Mine - colour shelves! " Unique wall shelf, specially selected for this auction! This year we present our work at OBJECT Rotterdam 1-4 July. Beautiful balanced shape and a nice size, this will make you want coffee and chocolate! Irregular chunks of plastic factory waste, translated into unique and striking circular accessories for indoor and outdoor use! Time and again we are fascinated by the unique shapes and beautiful bright colours of the discarded waste chunks, selected at a plastic processing plant. Here we select the most striking shapes and colours, at the same time we as designers look at what we can make of them. During the transformation process we split the chunks with saw or CNC machine. It is always a surprise what emerges on the inside, a marbled pattern that reveals itself when the two halves split. We finish them all to get them nice and smooth and clean. To be able to use as wall shelf, bookends, table, candlesticks, mirrors and more.
