This is a beautifully carved swordfish bill with an oceanic scene. A Balinese master craftsman has intricately carved a marine wildlife setting including a pod of whales, sea turtles, a large octopus and manta rays swimming among an array of fish into this large Swordfish Tusk. The carving is of very high quality and has a lot of detail. Could be seen as scrimshaw.
