You are bidding on selected inclusions of one of the largest collections in Germany, which consists of amber from all over the world (Baltics, Dominican Republic, Mexico and Burma) , and I am offering them for auction for age-related reasons. Authenticity, quality and rarity are guaranteed, partly suitable for museums, which concerns an estimated percentage of e. g. less than 0. 1% of various finds. Burmite is the name of a type of amber that is considered to be the amber with the greatest number of inclusions. This honey-coloured small cabochon of 2 x 0. 8 cm contains a RARITY of a perfectly preserved, down-like, 1. 5 cm large fanned DINOSAUR feather with keel 1 cm as well as a tuft of hair (mammal?) and large lined-up air bubbles These beautiful, extremely fine feather strands feature nodules (moduli) in regular intervals and come from small dino ratites such as the Deinonychus or the Velociraptor. The value of an inclusion stone mainly depends on its rarity, and it’s less than 0. 01 % in this case due to the extraordinary mixture with hair. 4 photos with multilayer shots document this MUSEUM exhibit, which is one of my visually most appealing!
