Oil on linen. Combination between classical and modern painting techniques, realism and abstraction. Suzan Schuttelaar (1974) works on the boundary of the city centre of Gouda. While sculpting and painting, she investigates what lies beneath the skin. Above all, it has to bring something to the surface. Spatial, conceptual and intens work. Suzan started her education at the graphic lyceum in Utrecht. She then successfully attended the Koninklijke Academie voor Beeldende Kunsten in The Hague.
