Curved French sabre, model 1882. Used by officers of the Uruguayan army at the end of the 19th century. Leaf with inscription "República del Uruguay" carved in acid. Wooden handle covered with leather, damaged. Nickel-plated metal handguard with three "branches". Nickel-plated metal sheath with one ring.
