Most likely acquired at the Grosvenor Gallery, London, at the Kumalo - Skotnes exhibition, 12 July - 6 August 1966.
Mourning Woman was cast by the Vignali foundry for Egon Guenther in 1966, and by the Fiorini and Carney foundry for the Grosvenor Gallery where it was included in the 'Kumalo - Skotnes' exhibition from 12 July - 6 August 1966 (catalogue no. 13). It was again cast by the Vignali foundry for Goodman Gallery in 1976 for an exhibition.
