The Taylor 614CE Grand Auditorium Acoustic-Electric guitar is a distinctive model comprised of a Sitka spruce top and maple body, known for its versatility and playability. The acoustic-electric feature gives this guitar a bright tone, with authentic, natural amplification captured by Taylor’s innovative Expression System electronics when plugged in, a staple of all mid to high-range Taylor guitars after 2004. The 614CE is touted by Taylor as one of the most touch sensitive models in their acoustic line. The Grand Auditorium body, Taylor’s signature body shape introduced in 1994, is considered the ideal acoustic and features Venetian cutaways with soft, rounded lines. This particular guitar from 2013 is in an unusual blue finish, adding an element of uniqueness to a highly popular guitar.
