of upright form, supported by a stepped hardstone foot embellished with three differently chased floral gold borders, plain gold collar with leafy border, the egg in translucent blue guilloche enamel over wavy engine-turning, centered with a portrait miniature of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in enamel, within rose-diamond frame and further leafy border below a royal crown and a ruby-set diamond Tudor rose, the gold Royal cipher within rope twist gold border to either side, the reverse applied with an enamel portrait miniature representing Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, within a rose diamond-set frame and chased leafy gold border, an applied gold thistle above the hinge, surrounded by an eggshell coloured enamel border over diaper engine-turning painted with the ornaments of Her Majesty’s coronation robe, alternating with an applied gold shamrock to the left and a gold leek to the right, the upper part of the lid of translucent blue enamel over sun-ray engine-turning, divided into small lozenge-shaped compartments by seed pearl cagework, the lozenges centered with stylised crosses and gold-mounted diamonds, crowned by a gold and enamel royal crown, the hinged lid opening to reveal an 18 ct gold replica of Queen Elizabeth II’s Diamond Jubilee State Coach, maker's mark, town mark, date letter p, further struck with the creator's initials WJF, maker's marks EJS and MV incuse, struck '750' for 18 ct gold, in a fitted velvet and blue leather case, further fitted blue cardboard box
