THREE CHIP CARVED WOOD FOLK ART CANES

20th Century. The first and second of blond and brown colored wood, with stylized pistol grip handles, with shafts similarly carved in a spiral pattern. The third, a Polish example, from the Southern Town of Zakopane, inscribed, the handle carved to resemble an axe with an eagle’s head, the shaft monogrammed, and with foliage and geometric motifs. Lengths 37 in. to 38.5 in. (Cond: good)
