Japan, 19th century, Edo period (1615-1868)
All three depicting Hotei with his treasure bag, the first made of wood and depicting the god leaning on his bag, the underside signed. The second made of stag antler and showing Hotei clutching his sack. The third carved from wood showing Hotei inside his bag, the underside signed within a fan-shaped reserve.
HEIGHT 2. 3 - 3.5 cm
Condition: Very good condition with extensive wear. The stag antler plug seems a later addition.
