TWO 19TH CENTURY ENGRAVINGS OF WASHINGTON. Comprising two 19th century colored engravings of George Washington. The first depicting a standing portrait of Washington after the famous Gilbert Stuart (American 1755-1828) painting Landsdown Portrait of Washington at Dorchester Heights, published by the Franklin Printing Co. Boston; circa 1836, contained in a glazed frame overall measuring 31.5 X 23.25 inches. The second depicting Washington and His Family, after the painting by Christian Schussel (American 1843-1924), published in Philadelphia by Irwin & Sartain in 1864, contained in a glazed frame overall measuring 23 inches x 29.25 inches.
