TWO LADIES' 14K SOLID GOLD CASED POCKET WATCHES
Two ladies' 14k gold cased pocket watches, the first, an Elgin with a hunt case, having a stylized monogram and a.10ct, 3mm old mine cut faceted diamond mounted on the middle of the rear cover. model 2, class 78, production date 1900, size 0s, 15 jewel, serial number 8146***, the second, an American Waltham Watch company grade 62, Os, with 11 jewels and a gilt movement having a production run of February to May 1894 being a model 1891, serial number 6233***, elaborately cased with a bluish dial and a diamond highlight, sporting five different gold colors, with decorations such as a flower bouquets, cascading flowers, and a bluebird, one flower having a 2mm old mine cut faceted diamond, the whole with elaborate edge milling of swirls and florals.
Approximate dimensions: Elgin, h. 1.75" to top of the crown, w. 1.3125" weight inclusive of all materials is 34.1 grams, American Waltham h. 1.75" to the top of the crown, w. 1.4375" weight inclusive of all materials is 41.8 grams.
