TWO PAIRS, 19TH C. FRENCH GILT BRONZE CANDLESTICKS
French, 19th century. Two pairs of gilt bronze candlesticks comprising, a pair of Empire candlesticks with jasper on triparte griffin base, and a pair of Charles X candlesticks with fluted spreading shafts with paw feet on triparte base, all apparently unmarked.

Approximate dimensions: Empire candlestick h. 8.75", w. 3.5", d. 4"; Charles X candlestick h. 12.5", w. 5.25", d. 4.5".
Condition: Stem under the marble of one Empire candlestick slightly raised exposing square section, nozzle of one Empire candlestick is cracked, no apparent chips to jasper, nozzles of the Charles X candlesticks associated and crimped to adapt, some gilt loss.
