Two Philip & Kelvin Laverne Hexagonal Chan side tables. H 15 3/4 "x 18" x 10"; having acid etched and enameled patinated brass over pewter and wood, Chinoiserie continuous figural and architectural scene, signed "Philip & Kelvin LaVerne" at the bottom. Philip (B. 1907)and Kelvin (B. 1936) Laverne - American 20th c. father and son sculptural furniture duo who worked together since the mid-1950s. The son continues their business under both names even after Philip died in 1987. Condition: generally good - show use, e.g. light use scratches on the top. Weight: 70.2 lbs.
