TWO SMALL INDIAN BRONZE FIGURES, 19TH CENTURY
India. One bronze depicting Garuda in zoomorphic form with a skeletal body and large open wings around it, the flat back with a loop for suspension as a pendant. The other depicting a female deity, possibly Parvati, sitting cross-legged on a stepped square base with her hands clasped together. (2)
Condition: Good condition with fine patina, the Parvati figure with few malachite speckles and encrustations, minor wear and some dents.
Provenance: Austrian private collection.
Weight: 69.3 g.
Dimensions: Height 4.0 cm (Parvati) and 4.7 cm (Garuda).
