TWO TERRA COTTA BUSTS AFTER CAFFIERI. Both Finely modeled after the circa 1770 sculpture of Madame Du Barry by Jean-Jacques Caffieri (French, 1725-1792) and raised on socle bases. The verso of both inscribed CAFFIERI. Height of first pictured example, 21 inches (53 cm), height of second 20 inches (51 cm). One likely 19th century, the other a later example.
