Tapestry (4) - Silk - Late 18th century

Beautiful French chair upholsteries in silk. These are 2 pairs measuring 53x45 cm and 74x64 cm; 44x52 cm and approx. 64 x 64 cm (the shape of the tapestries is not linear, it follows that of the chairs they used to cover) . They are suitable for lining two chairs or to display as tapestries. In fair condition, with signs due to ageing. They date back to the late 1700s, and show signs of well performed restorations.
