A lovely Chinese Imari teacup originating from the reign of the Yongzheng Emperor (1723 – 1735) . The Chinese Imari style can be recognized by the dry iron red enamel highlighted with gilt applied on underglaze blue and white porcelain. The painted scenery depicts two golden oxen standing in a fenced garden with lots of plants. The base carries a small flower in gold.
