The Fourth Anniversary of the Fall of David's City. 1952.
This poster was issued by the Herut movement to mark the fourth anniversary of the fall of the Old City of Jerusalem in the War of Independence. In the center, the Tower of David rises above the Old City Wall as it breaks apart a chain link barrier. Above this image, the text reads: "4 years since the fall of David's City, 20 Iyar 1948," and below, the text states: "We will yet redeem you, O Jerusalem!"
