The single-case inro of dark-stained boxwood, carved in high relief with a large crayfish, its tail curling beneath to the reverse, with ukibori pimple details, signed JC XZ, 7.8cm (3in) high; the netsuke of stained boxwood, depicting a dragonfly nymph, its legs curled in to form the himotoshi, signed JC, 4.6cm (1¾in); the ojime in the form of a caddis fly larva case covered in shells and rocks, partly inlaid with mother-of-pearl, signed JC; with the artist's reference card.
