The Life and Adventures of Buffalo Bill. 1912.
"The design is a very interesting one, with the four Indians inside the backdrop of a stretched buckskin. At top and bottom are scenes of Indian life as featured in Wild West shows, including religious rituals and dances. To look at these Indians today is to see what became their accepted and expected image, as seen in hundreds of contemporary western motion pictures and television programs. But much of this comes from Buffalo Bill's Wild West... The Indian-pattern border adds another fine design element..." (Buffalo Bill, p. 12). The same design was later used by the 101 Ranch Wild West (see Buffalo Bill, 76). This poster includes a tip-on for Barnsdale's screening of "The Life of Buffalo Bill."
