A depiction of Niobe's children on horseback against the skyline of an antique city. At the top left, Apollo and Artemis on a bank of cloud, felling the riders with bows and arrows. Includes a positive cast of the plate in latex. Dimensions 35 x 44 cm. Thickness approx. 10.5 mm. Weight 14.12 kg.Unusual tableau, made as a negative plate, presumably produced after a design by Giambologna or Jean Cousin.Condition: I - II
