Typographic brand on the last sheet. A very rare edition of Thomas Aquinas’ Comments. Locatello printed for Ottaviano Scoto from 1489 to 1500 and used the cross and circle as a colophon. Thomas Aquinas was Albertus Magnus's favourite pupil and has been called the holiest of the learned and the most educated of the Saints. In excellent condition despite the reported lack of 3 sheets.
