Thomas Shotter Boys, NSW, British 1803-1874- Boulogne; pencil and watercolour on paper, signed and dated 'T. S. Boys / 1827' (lower right), 25.4 x 30 cm. Provenance: Private Collection, UK. Note: The present work shows the Belfry from la Place Godefroy-de-Bouillon. The Belfry is an old keep erected in the 12th century in Boulogne that was originally the keep of the Norman castle and is now a UNESCO World Heritage site.
