Three Chinese famille verte dishes
Each of circular form, decorated in famille verte enamels, one with two confronting warriors on horseback within a rocky landscape, the rim with five quatrefoil panels, each with a different auspicious object, reserved on a honeycomb ground, the back with a chime-mark within a double circle in underglaze blue; the other two dishes with piecrust rim decorated with two robed ladies in a terraced garden with prunus and a low table supporting a jardiniere, the cavetto with four cartouches containing auspicious symbols reserved on a scrolling lotus ground, the rim with a key-fret pattern, the backs with four floral sprays, the larger dish with a double circle in underglaze blue. Period: Kangxi (1662 - 1722). Diameter: 23,5, 33,5 and 34,5 cm.
