Three Early 20th Century Embroidered Panels, worked on cream linen ground with coloured wools, the first a 'Tree of Life' design includes a beetle to the base of the tree, it is initialled 'CC' and dated '1919', cream to the reverse, curtain hooks to the top, 84cm by 206cm; another of similar design with a snail near the top of the tree, and a frog sitting at its base, initialled 'CC' and dated 1919, size 84cm by 206cm; the third has a central inverted pleated panel to the centre, 143cm by 136cm (3)
Condition Report:
. First panel - some brown vertical marks overall, slight discolouration, some fading to the tree and leaves, wear to the wool threads. Second embroidery - similar fading, rip to the right hand side of the curtain, approx 30cm long. Thrid panel, similar condition to the others.
