Fossil skull belonging to a Mosasaurus. Item of remarkable size and weight, in very good condition. Stunning 3D reconstruction, including all teeth and full of incredible details. These prehistoric lizards could reach a length of 17 meters. Mosasaurus, in addition to being among the largest in the mosasaurid family, was the last species to become extinct, on the other hand it was the first genus of mosasaurid to be found and described. It is thought that this charming reptile, was one of the greatest predators of its habitat. The morphology and size, in fact, denote a marked adaptation to predation. Numerous jaw wounds found in fossil specimens suggest that these animals led a particularly violent lifestyle, probably fighting each other. A real piece of history for your collection. Dimensions: 510 x 195 x 170 mm Weight: 4100 g Origin: Morocco
