Federal-style sterling silver bowl. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York. Curved sides and reeded rim; short concave support and raised foot. A nice revival piece from the early years of American independence. Fully marked including maker's stamp pattern no. 19168 directors letter M (1947-56) and phrase "Original in the / Clearwater Collection / Metropolitan Museum of Art" which is followed by: "Reproduction / Original by / Ephraim Brasher / New York / 1786 1805". Dimensions: H 3 5/8 x D 7 7/8 in. Weight: 19 troy ounces.
