Chrysanthemum sterling silver serving dish. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York. Shaped oval well curved sides with lobing and applied leaf border. A profusion of blossoms bunched at ends and wrapped around bracket handles. Scalloped rim with alternating flower heads and leaves. Oval foot ring applied with same. A fabulous piece in the celebrated pattern a New World interpretation of a Japanese motif that was first produced in 1880.
