Mid 19th century lard lamp, tin horizontal reservoir fitted with wide flat wick burner at center flanked by a refill opening with cap on one side and a single tube burner on the other, loop sockets on sides of reservoir for shade, front of reservoir with brass label "S. N. & H. C. UFFORD, / 117 COURT ST. / BOSTON. / KINNEARS PATENT. / FEB. 4 1851.", supported on tin cylindrical shaft with round cast iron base; 8 1/2"H, base 5 1/2" dia.; good overall condition, missing shade, a few small holes at bottom of reservoir
