The metal seems to be bent around the light sources so that the lamp emits a warm glow. The lamp provides both indirect and direct light. Architect and designer Tobia Scarpa has spent much of his career working with his wife Afra. Their works have been included in many museums in the US and Europe, including the Mo. Ma and the Louvre. Tobia and Afra Scarpa were actively involved in the foundation of Flos in 1962, for which company they were responsible for the first collections together with the Castiglioni brothers.
