A unique Zebrano sideboard on two black lacquered, oval pillar-legs. Black glass top inlaid with blue square decorated with “sea pattern”. Rounded front with three burl wood drawers and four doors, covered with light “Lincrusta”. Interior with shelves. Brass fittings and orb handles with brownish orange lacquer. Made 1935 for Illums. H. 94.5 cm. D. 46 cm. L. 201.5 cm.

Provenance: Made on special order for Mr Torkov's own home. Torkov was dept. head for furniture at Illums in the 1930s. He was probably the designer as well.
