Touat 005 Lunar Meteorite Slice Lunar (feldspathic breccia) Adrar, Algeria - (27° 44' 50"N, 1° 22' 11"W) Found: 2020 A simply gorgeous lunar meteorite, this thin slab of Touat 005 from Algeria found in 2020 weighs only 24 grams but has a relatively large surface area for its dimensions. This feldspathic breccia material actually offers an unusual greenish hue not often associated with rocks from the Moon. Larger whitish clasts in a highly shocked matrix characterize this singular example. Numerous megacrysts on the smooth polished surface which measures 4 inches (10 cm) across. A fabulous collection specimen in terms of a smaller or more unique variety of Moon rock, this irregular and complex slice is a visually stunning collection piece.
