Original vintage travel poster - There's always sunshine above the clouds AOA to USA American Overseas Airlines - featuring a colourful design by Jan Le Witt (1907-1991) and George Him (1900-1981), the successful design team Lewitt-Him (1933-1955), depicting a propeller plane flying in a blue sky above the clouds with a sun shining and the AOA letters forming two yellow arrows curving behind the bold black and blue lettering running diagonally across the image, the AA eagle logo between the white text below. Formerly AEA (American Export Airlines, 1937-1945) until merging with AA American Airlines, AOA ran services between USA and Europe from 1945-1950 before merging with Pan Am (now Delta Air Lines).
