Original vintage travel advertising poster in German for Deutsche Zeppelin to promote their services across the Atlantic Ocean between Hamburg and USA in 2 days by Deutsche Zeppelin Reederei (German Zeppelin Transport Company / DZR) Hamburg-Amerika Linie / In 2 tagen uber den ozean. Stunning design by Anton of a Zeppelin featuring the German Nazi swastika flags flying high over the deep blue ocean above a sailing ship with the text below. The DZR was founded in 1935 operating transatlantic passenger services and promotional flights within Europe in three airships, the Graf Zeppelin (1935-1937), Hindenburg (1936-1937) and Graf Zeppelin II (1938-1939), from its airship hangar base at Frankfurt Airport; flights were stopped at the start of World War Two in 1939 and, in 1940, the DZR was closed down by the Wehrmacht (Nazi German armed forces).
