Triumph - 2500 TC "Chicane" RHD - 1973

Triumph 2500 MK2 TC Chicane from 1973, built in South Africa. 6 cylinder 106 hp engine, 4 speed + overdrive, power steering, car radio. Car from a private collection, in excellent condition, very healthy, always kept in an indoor garage. Never fitted with tow bar. The car starts and everything works. Interior preserved and in very good condition. Chrome plating in excellent condition, the car has never been damaged, it features the original stickers “Leyland’s New Six Cylinder Triumph Chicane” and “Leyland South Africa”, it also has all the original plates “made in South Africa for British Leyland” in the engine compartment. Bottom and metal struts in excellent condition, without rust. Healthy and rust-free wheel arches, floor, front and rear chassis. The car was only repainted externally in its original colour a few years ago. Everything is in working order, even the vintage car radio. The white fabric headliner is excellent. The carpeting under the seats and in the boot is in excellent condition. The engine is in excellent cosmetic condition and is completely original, no parts have been replaced. The battery is good and the car starts at the first stroke. The carburettors should be tuned for proper performance and the tyres should be replaced as they are a bit old. Wood and dashboard in beautiful condition, car always left in the dark in the garage under the tarpaulin. Imported in 1974 from South Africa by the first owner who returned to Italy after a business trip. The body shows some small marks due to being stored in the garage. Car deregistered in 1996 (all papers and documents are provided) . Please, check if the vehicle can be registered in your country. It can be viewed by appointment in the province of Como, Italy.
