[ translate ]

This Triumph GP Rep runs and rides fantastic with a great sound. The first Senior Manx Grand Prix race after WW2 was won by Ernie Lyons. He rode a Triumph of which the engine had a Tiger 100 bottom-end with a square-finned silicon-light-alloy cylinder head and barrel of a wartime RAF Triumph generator plant. The rear wheel incorporated the prototype of the Triumph Sprung Hub. This Manx Grand Prix success led to the production Triumph Grand Prix which was announced in February 1948. The GP remained in the programme for a few years, in which time around 250 machines were made, of which legends has it that 500 survived! This is one of those replica machines. This GP rep has many correct parts like: - Front brake with magnesium brake plate. - Unbored square barrel This Triumph has been used recently at various events and sounds and rides amazing.
