Triumph - TR6 - 1975
This beautiful Triumph TR6 comes originally from the US (Los Angeles) . Imported in the Netherlands on 28-02-1991. A complete restoration was then carried out, the engine, gearbox and differential were completely overhauled at the time (all invoices are available) . The car was approved on 25 August 1999 by the Dutch vehicle authority (RDW) and was mainly used during summers until 2010. The car was suspended in 2010 until August 2021. The TR6 was always kept indoors during this period. Work started gradually with smaller jobs in June 2021 in order for it to pass a periodic inspection, it is now fully approved and driveable, however it will need a check after standing still for a long time. The car has no seat belts (not mandatory in the Netherlands) . The Triumph TR6 can be picked up in Enschede, the Netherlands. It comes with a hardtop in the same colour and needs a new headliner. It also has the original rims. There’s some minor rust forming under the paint on the bodywork. Some photos of this are included. The car is in fairly good condition, it runs well but the brakes do need some attention.
