Bougival, "Dimanche matin". Big 8°. 1 1/2 p. on a double leave (traces of folding). With autographed, addressed and stamped envelope, post stamp Paris, 18th february [18]75.

With embossed letterhead. - To the russian philanthropist Horace Günzburg (1833-1909). An amicable letter, in which he instructs his driver to get the donkey and the car. At the same time he brings the groom 20 francs for gratitude, as he looked after the donkey. "Vous ne m'avez pas fait savoir le prix de la bête" and askes for a message. He hopes to see his friend in London, when he gets back there. - A little browned, traces of ink on the opposite side, poststamp removed, envelope with small lack of paper.
