A Ottoman flintlock rifle - Ottoman empire, probably made in Istanbul, 18th-19th century In Turkey, this rifle is called tüfek (just meaning rifle in Turkisk) . It is a beautiful and richly decorated example. Historically, this type of decoration was produced in Istanbul. Mechanism firm and strong. A piece of inlay mother of pearl of the butt is missing.
