one an oak apprentice-style box in the form of a miniature coffer with fitted drawer on plinth base, 28cm x 14cm x 16cm overall, the other a rosewood box with brass and mother of pearl inlay, 30cm x 12.5cm x 22cm (2)
Both with overall wear and scuffs, consistent with age and use. The rosewood box has the interior lift out tray missing and baize applied to the base, some losses to the inlay also. Oak example with modern baize lining, some splits and one or two old repairs.
