Two 20th C. Burmese Brass Kyeezee
**First Time At Auction**
Southeast Asia, Burma (now Myanmar), ca. mid-20th century CE. A pair of cast-brass gongs of triangular forms known as kyeezee. Both instruments have upturned terminals, tapered bodies, and circular finials, and perforated suspension holes are situation atop the squat kyeezee and through the upper neck of the larger. Size of largest: 5.75" W x 4" H (14.6 cm x 10.2 cm); 4.25" H (10.8 cm) on included custom stand.
