Two Chinese Late Qing Agate Carved Ladies Meiren A5WAJ

Description: Two Chinese late Qing dynasty well carved figures, the first of a standing lavender agate meiren dressed in a long flowing robe with elaborate sash, one hand holds a fruited branch and the second holds a bowl raised and supported against her head. Her hair is upswept in a bun and her facial features are serenely rendered. A russet inclusion is on the raised hand. Included with this figure is a smaller agate maiden carved from agate with a hint of lavender and celadon and touches of russet. She leans to one side, her long gown and scarves flowing in the breeze. Her hair is upswept. Late 19th to early 20th century.
Measurements: largest: 6 1/2 high (7 7/8 high including the stand); smallest: 5 1/2 high (6 3/4" high including the stand)
Condition: Both figures are attached to their stands. The larger figure is in very good overall condition. The smaller figure has a loss to one hair bun and one missing hand. Pictures were taken outdoors in bright natural Arizona sunlight.
