A pair of rectangular pottery tiles depicting a crowded church (in mirror image). The backs are dated 1684 and also the pulpits show the number 84. Possibly commemorating the 100th death anniversary of Prince William of Orange (1533-1584). These plaques were last sold by Salomon Stodel in 1965 who described these as "presumably Utrecht".

Old chip to one corner and smaller chips and glaze loss around the edges. No other damage and no restoration.
