Two Victorian silver sugar baskets,
the first by Thomas Smiley, London 1876,
oval, with engraved leaf decoration and swing handle,
the second by Joseph Angell II, London 1857,
with pierced and engraved decoration and swing handle, and blue glass liner,
18 and 20cm high, 16ozt,
together with a Georgian silver coaster,
by James Kirkby, Gregory & Co., Sheffield 1824,
with embossed decoration and turned wood base,
16cm diameter (3)
Sold for £420

Condition report:
Boat shaped sugar vase: no liner, untidy solder round junction of top and pedestal?
Pierced sugar vase: appears OK.
Coaster: worn through on highlights through over-polishing? Lower rim dented and both maker's marks rubbed.
