A stunning mythological wax statue, reproducing a man’s head and bucranium, created as a worship symbol of the hunted or sacrificed animals. A young hunter on one side and on the other the Bucranium, or ox scull, which is found in Roman monuments and also in Greek sacred contexts. The bucranium was already used in the Mesopotamian ceramics of the 4th millennium BC and in the Egyptian funeral painting of the 2nd millennium BC.
