The larger, a Jian ware tea bowl with a metal-mounted rim, russet 'hare's fur' markings on the blue-black glaze across the well and exterior walls above a dark russet-burnt foot and recessed base; the smaller, a delicately potted bowl of Cizhou type, with russet 'hare's fur' markings across the well and mottled brown glaze on the exterior walls above a pale brown wash on the remaining unglazed surfaces and tiny patches of the grayish-white fabric exposed along the foot pad (both chipped).
