Two mid-20th century Persian silver cigarette boxes, Isfahan circa 1950 Pahlavi dynasty. One of rectangular form, the other square upon short feet. The rectangular example with a push button release, the lid centred with a chased monabbat-kari decoration of peonies and foliage, otherwise all reserved with foliate scrolls and peonies, edge with a rosette band. The square example with chased tessellated mandala forms. The square example with partially obscured workshop mark and standard mark (??), the rectangular example unmarked.
